Polyurethane now on the concrete statue.


This morning I was tossing up whether to pain it a dark grey or poly it, took a while but decided I still want to see that it’s made of concrete so the can of poly I found in the shed won out!

There are two things that without, I wouldn't recognise my life. One is my cheeky beagle Baxter who answers to all sorts of endearments starting with "B" except his actual name :-) and my pottery. They both make me happy and hopeful.

  1. I use stone sealer on my decorative bisqued claywork, instead of glazing. I’ve found that it seals plaster of paris rock-hard.
