My pottery creations on and off the wheel.

Thinking spacially: part two

Now that i can see it in clay, its much easier to see it in the kiln and now the basic form is there the fun part is starting.

I am thinking about adding coils to shape the shoulder and neck, texturing with plants and/or carving, is it going to be somewhere i want the creatures to hide in with little doors or cubby holes, or the birds to be fed and watered, or is it going to be a sculptural vessel and will i use oxides or glaze?

Love this part because i can’t answer any of those questions yet, i am just going to see what creates itself with a little bit of help from me:-)

There are two things that without, I wouldn't recognise my life. One is my cheeky beagle Baxter who answers to all sorts of endearments starting with "B" except his actual name :-) and my pottery. They both make me happy and hopeful.
