Plaster Disaster

I was rushing to get a few new flowers cast so i would be kept busy after tomorrow’s escapade. You can’t rush plaster making as witnessed by my big sloppy unset mess of runny plaster and melting clay that ruined 8 flowers.
One handfull at a time (waiting) for each one to absorb before sprinkling the next untill you get a little island of powder because the plaster is totally saturated, not dumping it all straight in mixing and pouring because you’re in a hurry. A lesson i have learned the hard way before…just hadn’t remembered it!
Its all good i will enjoy making new ones and have started 3 new pots that still need peircing to keep me outta trouble:-)

There are two things that without, I wouldn't recognise my life. One is my cheeky beagle Baxter who answers to all sorts of endearments starting with "B" except his actual name :-) and my pottery. They both make me happy and hopeful.
