Handbuilt, over a slump mould, nice and thin but compressed well and higher firing than i usually do so have high hopes for Celeste..assuming it survives the next couple of stages!
I vaguely remember doing 3 minute sketches of a model in high school, who knew that you could sketch in clay. Well, after another Diane Parker workshop now i know! Results may not be refined but i thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the fact that it dragged me back into the moment which i couldn’t seem to do on day one.
In that vein, i have decided the next 6 weeks on the waiting list will be spent, not thinking about the what if’s but getting my hands dirty in the clay and in the garden. This will be a fun and productive 6 weeks 🙂
